While the culture pushes resolutions and relentless self-improvement, winter offers a different kind of wisdom — the wisdom of animal bodies, bare trees, long nights, and spacious quiet.
In this program, we explore how to “winter well”: honoring our natural cycles, finding nourishment in stillness, and allowing restoration to be a form of growth. Through mindful outdoor experiences and gentle personal inquiry, we learn to let winter guide us home to ourselves.
We’ll begin with a slow, silent walk, practicing deep presence, noticing the stillness, resilience, and subtle beauty of life in its dormant phase.
This experience invites a gentle fire-gazing meditation to clear the mind, followed by a heartfelt discussion on "The Art of Wintering." We'll explore how to cultivate rest, find inner renewal, and tap into our innate longings during the darkest months.
Our time together will conclude with warm, forest-inspired tea and nourishing snacks by a cozy fire, letting the warmth soak into our bones. Come, find your center in the stillness of winter sets in.
