Grateful Gatherings - Conversations with Purpose
April theme: Why Play Matters
Given the challenges we’re collectively facing, play can seem frivolous—yet it may be more essential than ever. What role does play have in discovering meaning, responding to suffering, or living gratefully?
When we play, we celebrate curiosity, vulnerability, strategy, and possibility. In this way, play becomes an expression of gratitude—a wholehearted “yes” to the moment and the day.
Root to Rise: A Celebration of Spring!
Early spring is not always neat or tidy. The long rest of winter gives way to soft ground, longer light, and the quiet signs of new life. Nature reminds us that growth begins beneath the surface, long before it can be seen.
Together, we will slow down and step into the quiet rhythms of the spring meadow through guided mindfulness practices, sensory awareness, and reflective invitations. As we move and pause within the landscape, we will explore the theme of “Root to Rise”—honoring the ways resilience takes hold beneath the surface before new possibilities unfold.
Grateful Gatherings - Conversations with Purpose
March theme: Sacred Rest
Across cultures and time, humans have honored the need for rest—not just to sleep, but to truly renew. This month’s Grateful Gathering invites you into Sacred Rest - a pause from busyness, a return to what nourishes your inner life, and a reminder that rest can be an act of gratitude and care.
We’ll explore rest as something deeper and more spacious than we often allow—rest for the body, the mind, the emotions, the senses, the spirit, and even our relationships and creativity. Drawing from the wisdom of the seven types of rest, we’ll reflect on where we may be depleted and what kinds of rest are quietly asking for our attention.
Come as you are. Leave with a deeper understanding of what truly replenishes you.
Spring Equinox Forest Immersion: Emerging Light
This Spring Equinox offering includes an introduction to nature journaling and sketching — not as an art class, but as an awareness-building practice of wonder, curiosity, and creativity.
Through simple prompts and gentle observation, we’ll slow down and notice the small details of the natural world that often go unseen. No artistic experience is needed — only a willingness to look closely, be present, and let the page become a place of discovery
The Art of Wintering
Winter often arrives with mixed feelings. For some, it brings beauty and quiet; for others, fatigue, disconnection, or a sense of simply getting through. This workshop invites you to try something different: to gently befriend winter rather than resist it.
This uplifting, positive psychology–informed workshop weaves together the science of human flourishing and nature’s wisdom, offering a supportive, hopeful (maybe even joyful!) approach to caring for yourself during the season of cozy. Instead of pushing against winter’s slower rhythm, we explore how aligning with it can nurture mental health, physical well-being, and emotional resilience.
